Servings: 3-4
- Preheat grill to 400°
- Slice the pummelo into 3-4 equal slices
- Mix the honey, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a small bowl
- Place the pummelo slices on the grill and brush on the sweet sauce you just made onto one side
- Grill for 2 mins, then flip
- Brush the other side with the sweet sauce, and grill for an additional 1-2 minutes
- Remove from the grill
- Enjoy!
Notes
- You can cut around the rind before grilling if you would like. You can also grill the whole half of the pummelo, I would give it an extra 2 minutes or so.
- To eat, feel free to use a knife and cut it into sections, or if you don’t mind getting a little messy, dig in there with your fingers!
- Grilling the pummelo makes it a bit sweeter and gives you that smokey taste you would get from grilling. The added sweet sauce really makes this a delicious side dish, dessert, or a topping to a salad!
- A dollop of whipped topping would be AMAZING!
