Noble Fresh Blueberries are available February through April and are grown locally in Florida to ensure quality and freshness. All berries are pre-cooled upon receiving into Noble, and never endure long ship crossings, ensuring the best possible shelf life and freshness.
Southern Vs. Northern Highbush Berries – Worth a Taste Test
Noble's Florida blueberries prosper on Southern Highbush plants. In Florida they get limited amounts of weather-chilling. This produces delicious berries that require gentler processing--more hand-picking and hand-sorting.
Northern Highbush berries from North Carolina and other northern regions, the most planted blueberries in the world, are perfect for areas exposed to more chill or cool periods. These northern berries are also delicious and more plentiful as they can be machine harvested. At times, Noble partners with growers that share their philosophy to bring New Crop blueberries from the U.S. and the southern hemisphere throughout the year.
